In response to the most recent school quarantine guidance from Lorain County Public Health we have created two new quarantine codes, QT-Out and QT-In.
Students who have tested Covid Positive will still be coded as CV-19. If a student is considered a close contact, I will code them all as Qt-Out. This will be your indicator that a student is considered quarantined and may be in your classroom. Once they enter your classroom, you may go in and switch this code to QT-In. Per the new guidelines, anyone considered a close contact is encouraged to attend school during their quarantine period. They will not be allowed to attend any afterschool activities during this time. If a child is tested on the 5th day and returns to school with a negative PCR test on or after day 7, please contact Pat Akosi or Patty Kalo with these results. Some parents may choose to keep their child home or a student may begin to experience symptoms and need to stay home. This is why they will be coded QT-Out until they show up to the building.
Middle & High School:
- Students will tap in at the kiosks
- 1st period will be marked as Present
- Teachers will update period attendance to QT-In during their class.
Elementary:
- Teachers will change daily attendance to QT-In if student is in their class.
I have included some screenshots below with instructions on how to change this code during your class period.
