We will be holding one last on-site Biometric Screening at the High School Gym on the next Professional Development Day, November 2nd from 6:00am to 11:00am!
WHY YOU SHOULD DO IT:
Participants who complete the Biometric Screening and Health Assessment will receive a $25 gift card
If at least 75% of our insured district employees complete the biometric screening and health assessment, our district could qualify for a health insurance premium holiday for the month of December 2022!
What’s a health insurance premium holiday? …This means that the district is not billed for the cost of the health insurance plan for one month.
How would I benefit? Employees would not have their health insurance premiums deducted from their paycheck for one month.
This is a total savings of around $1.1million to the district (or, about $176K for the employee cost and $942K for the district cost)
Depending on which insurance you participate in, your savings would be as follows:

To access the health assessment, visit the dashboard of the Medical Mutual Wellness portal: www.medmutual.com/member
Select Wellness Portal from the Healthy Living drop-down.
Click “Get Started” under the Health Assessment step.
IMPORTANT: Bring a printout or screenshot of the completion page of your health assessment, or have your medical mutual login ready on the day of your screening. Below is an example of the completed health assessment page -- be sure it shows the correct date.
HOW TO SCHEDULE YOUR BIOMETRIC SCREENING APPOINTMENT:
- Go to: https://mercyoccupationalhealth.acuityscheduling.com/
- Click on selected date, for Lorain School
- Click on desired time for testing
- Click “Continue”
- Complete name/phone/email
- Click on “Complete Appointment”
- “X” out of screen at top right
- Your confirmation will be sent to the email address you've provided
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT:
- Due to Covid-19 protocols, you must wear a mask during your screening.
- Please remember to fast 10-12 hours and drink 2-3 glasses of water the morning / day of your appointment.
