For the 2023-2024 school year, we are doing a staggered start for the first week of school. This will give students who need the most attention time to get acclimated to their new buildings, see their classrooms, and learn all about their new schools.
Our preschool and kindergarten students will have a staggered start to the new year. Families will be contacted by their child's teacher with details about each student's personalized visit to their school, where they will meet their teacher and tour the building. Orientation opportunities will take place the week of August 28.
Students in Grades 1-5 will start on Monday, August 28.
And, on the first day of school on Monday, August 28, we will use that day to get our 6th-grade students acclimated to middle school and our 9th grades accustomed to the high school. Students in grades 7-8 and 10-12 will not attend. Tuesday, August 29, will be a day for all grades 6-12 students.
