The VEX Robotics competition program of Lorain City Schools invites all middle and high school students who are interested in joining the Lorain Titans Robotics Team.
The district's highly successful robotics program is housed at the Lorain Titans Robotics Hub at Longfellow Middle School, 305 Louisiana Ave., Lorain.
Robotics started at Longfellow more than seven years ago; during that time, teams have qualified for the VEX Robotics World Championship four times. The program has since expanded to include students from Gen. Johnnie Wilson Middle and Southview Middle schools, and Lorain High School, giving many more students a chance to be a part of the team.
The Lorain Titans Robotics Team provides all Lorain Titans with a STEM-based program that pushes students to problem solve, collaborate, and work as a team to code, design, and engineer one-of-a-kind competition robots.
