BRYAN KOURYBryan Koury has been the Director of Athletics for Lorain City Schools since 2006. He graduated from BGSU in 1997 and returned to his alma mater, Admiral King High School, as an art teacher and coach. After 5 years as an assistant boys’ basketball coach, he was hired as the head boys’ basketball coach at Southview High School. Bryan was then hired as the Athletic Director of Lorain City Schools where he is responsible for the athletic programs at both the high school and middle schools.
Bryan earned his Master of Education in Classroom Instruction from Ashland University. He earned his Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA) designation in 2013 from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association and is working towards his Certified Master Athletic Administrator (CMAA) designation. He and his wife Andrea have a son named Jordan.
