SUBSTITUTE FILL RATE | If it feels like more subs are available to our schools after the increase in daily sub pay to $200: it’s true. According to our partners at Rachel Wixy:
- From the period 9/2/21 through 10/19/21, the average fill rate (for teachers only) was 49.52% with a low of 31.9% and a high of 51.22%.
- From the period 10/25/21 through 11/9/21, the average fill rate increased to 78.84% with a low of 63.27% and a high of 92.59%
This indicates an increase of 29.32% that is directly correlated with the pay increase.
