October 18, 2022 | Does your child need new eyeglasses, or maybe you thought a comprehensive vision exam was in order?
Lorain City Schools proudly announces our partnership with North Coast Eye Care. As part of the Titan Wellness Initiative, our staff has worked with North Coast Eye Care to develop a monthly schedule of services for students, including:
- Vision exams
- Medical eye care and treatment
- A wide selection of glasses for students
We will provide transportation to and from the appointment as each school will have a dedicated day and time for students to receive services. North Coast Eye Care is located at 1541 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, OH 44001. Parents are welcome to attend the appointment but are not required. Most insurance plans are accepted, including CareSource, Medicaid, and many vision and health care plans.
North Coast Eye Care has been a solid fixture in Lorain County since the 1960s, and this partnership will expand Lorain City Schools’ Wraparound Services for all students. Our Titan Wellness program is designed to change and grow with family feedback, giving our students and their families greater access to quality health care.
To receive assistance, your student must have a current FinalForms on file. Your child's school nurse will have service forms in the main office.
