Children ages 5-11 have now been approved for the COVID-19 vaccine.
The approved vaccine needs a first dose, then a second dose three to six weeks later. Over the next few weeks, all parents and guardians will have the opportunity for their school-aged children to get vaccinated.
In an effort to meet some specific needs of this population, Lorain County Public Health will have several clinics for ages 5-19 only. Parents may make a clinic appointment for their child online by clicking on a link below or by visiting LorainCountyHealth.com/coronavirus
. Parents may also make an office appointment at Lorain County Public Health by calling (440)284-3206.
