Update on the TitanUp! Community Appreciation/Back to School Event: YES, our event is still on!
ANSWERS to FAQs:
- PARADE: We are setting the line up beginning at 1:30PM at the old Morning Journal building. Students on bikes who wish to participate in the parade should meet us there! Parade route map can be found here.
Note: If Sunday's weather makes the parade a no-go we will notify you by 1:00 on this page, on the district website, and by robocall/email/text.
- BRING A BLANKET/CHAIR: Families may wish to bring a waterproof blanket and some lawn chairs to "set up camp" on the law south of the stage. There will be music throughout the event, making this a great spot for a little R&R during the afternoon.
- FREE FOOD: We will have FREE hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, cookies, popcorn, cotton candy and beverages for your family to enjoy. Come hungry!
- FAMILY-FRIENDLY ACTIVITIES: Our schools will have a variety of carnival-type activities and games to keep your children engaged, in addition to bouncy houses, an obstacles course, and high school athlete-led sports activities all day long!
- FREEBIES: Be sure to pick up a FREE T-Shirt and FREE School Supplies for your kiddos to ring in the new school year!
- ADULT STUFF TOO: Begin the registration process for your child for fall, connect with community partners, learn about local job opportunities, enjoy the art show, experience *great live music* and DJ, admire the Classic Car Show, and participate in backyard games such as Cornhole, Giant Jenga, and more!
