As we gear up for the much-anticipated Class of 2024 commencement ceremonies, we wanted to share some news that will shape this year's graduation festivities.
Due to ongoing construction for an improvement project at George Daniel Stadium, we're thrilled to announce that this year's graduation ceremonies will be held at the Lake Erie Crushers Stadium in Avon on June 4, 2024. We understand that this marks a departure from tradition, but we believe the true magic of graduation lies in our students celebrating their big day surrounded by loved ones. After all, graduation is more than just a location—it's a milestone to be cherished.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and are committed to ensuring a memorable celebration for all our Titans.
Here are all the essential details you need to know about our June 4th graduation at Crushers Stadium:
WHEN: June 4, 2024. Doors open at 6:00 PM, with the ceremony commencing promptly at 7:00 PM.
WHERE: Lake Erie Crushers Stadium, 2009 Baseball Blvd, Avon.
RAIN DATE: In the event of inclement weather, the graduation will be moved to the Lorain High School gymnasium and take place on June 4, 2024. Superintendent Dr. Graham will make a final decision based on weather forecasts by 3 PM on June 2, 2024, ensuring you have ample time to plan.
LIVESTREAMING: As is tradition, our graduation ceremony will be live-streamed on YouTube on our Lorain TV20 channel.
TICKETS: Each student will receive four (4) tickets along with their cap and gown. Additional tickets can be purchased at Crushers Stadium for just $1. If graduation relocates to Lorain High School due to rain, each student will be limited to six (6) tickets, including the original four (4) and two (2) extras that can be purchased the day of the ceremony.
PARKING: Enjoy free parking at Crushers Stadium for your convenience.
ACCESSIBILITY: Crushers Stadium is completely ADA-accessible. An elevator is located within the front gates to the right and services all stadium levels (ground level, concourse level, and suite/club level). Accessible seating is available behind select sections.
RESTROOMS: Restrooms are on either side of the field, both the concourse and suite/club levels.
