Happy August 1, Titan families

As we gear up for the new school year, we want to share some exciting news regarding our commitment to your child's attendance.

We kicked off the TitanUp! Attendance: You Belong Here campaign last school year, and wow, we were so impressed with how our schools and families came together to celebrate school attendance. There were pizza parties, ice cream socials, opportunities for our Titans to be principal for a day, and so many students earned new bikes.

We are bringing back TitanUp! Attendance and this school year, we will be joined by the Cleveland Browns' Stay in the Game Network. This team approach is all about implementing various plans to incentivize and support families in prioritizing on-time, daily attendance, and making this school year one to remember.

So, what does this new partnership mean for our families? Well, we will keep the fun school incentives our students have come to love and add some new ones tied to improved school attendance, including chances to earn:

  • Cleveland Browns merchandise and promotional items
  • Cleveland Browns tickets
  • Players posters
  • T-shirts

Be on the lookout for more details about how your child can score big.

Did you know that our research shows that reducing tardiness significantly contributes to overall improved school attendance, leading to enhanced educational outcomes for our students?

At Lorain Schools, we believe that establishing consistent attendance habits is crucial to your child's academic success and personal growth. By consistently arriving on time, students maximize their learning opportunities and develop essential time management and organizational skills that will undoubtedly benefit them in all aspects of life.

Families play a vital role in supporting their children's attendance habits. So, we will provide practical strategies, tips, and tools to ensure smooth mornings and timely arrivals.

We are excited about what's in store for this school year, and we can't wait to see our Titans when the new year begins on Monday, August 28!
