Welcome to Lorain High School, where our mission is to inspire students every day to prepare for college and careers of their dreams. Being a LHS Titan means having access to a world of opportunities, including:
  • A state-of-the-art Lorain High School which opened in 2016
  • Extensive college credit opportunities through Early College, College Credit Plus and PSEO
  • Earn a two-year associate's degree and high school diploma upon graduation through Titan College
  • On-campus Career Technical Education in 11 specialties with college credit articulation
  • Championship athletics teams all year long
  • Fine arts opportunities in art, choir, band, theater, orchestra, graphics and video game design
  • JROTC programming with both a Color Guard and Drill Team
Many of the programs and services families pay for in other school systems are FREE in the Lorain City Schools. These include:
  • Free breakfast and lunch for all students
  • Free shuttle to Mercy School Based Health Clinic.
  • Free ACT Prep and after school tutoring
  • No pay-to-play fees for athletics
  • No school, book, or lab supply fees

Lorain High School Family Engagement Night

Lorain High School will host a Family Engagement Night, Monday February 10th, from 5 to 8 p.m.

The event will be held in the Lorain High School Media Center and feature representatives from Lorain High School, NORD Center and College Now.

Nord Center will be available for questions regarding the following topics:

Coping with Death and Loss

Suicide Prevention and Awareness

Anxiety Disorders

Self-Medicating with Drugs and Alcohol

College Now will be available to discuss ACT and FAFSA preparation

Dean of Secondary Education will discuss changes to the graduation

requirements moving forward.
