Lorain City Schools proudly partners with Lorain County Head Start. Eight of our classrooms are Head Start Collaborative classrooms. These classrooms are still staffed by a LCS-employed lead teacher, but also benefit from the support from a Head Start instructional assistant and a Head Start family service worker. In order to meet federal Head Start regulations and standards, families whose children in these classrooms will need to complete additional paperwork, which will be provided when you register your child for preschool.
