Ohio Graduation Tests (OGT)

Ohio Graduation Test (OGT)

Current Ohio law requires students who first enrolled in grade 9 before July 1, 2014, to take and pass the Ohio Graduation Tests (OGT) to earn a high school diploma. The Ohio Graduation Tests are based upon Ohio's Learning Standards, which the State Board of Education adopted in English language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. These standards were designed to ensure that students are armed with the knowledge they need to be successful in higher educational pursuits as well as for future potential jobs and careers.
UPDATE (9-21-2020) LCCC is now offering OGT test sessions, tutoring and support to individuals who only need to pass 1 or more OGTs to receive a diploma Click this link to provide your contact information and LCCC will get in touch https://www.lorainccc.edu/programs-and-careers/able-adult-basic-literacy-education/  Diplomas are awarded to eligible students from Lorain High School.
