pat colemanSummer is now fully underway, and families across the nation are wondering what to expect with the reopening of school in the fall. While the District's Leadership Team continues to listen and learn to those we serve - you can view their progress shared at Monday's Board Meeting below - our school is buckling down on safety measures for students and staff resuming activities in preparation for the 20/21 school year. Here's what you need to know:

Band students will meet at Lorain High School each day, with camp taking place in the morning, 8:30am - 12:30pm. Participants must follow all safety protocols, including masks, which are to be worn daily. Please note that only Grades 9 & 10 and all percussion meet Monday, July 20th; only Grades 11 & 12 and all percussion meet Tuesday, July 21st. Current circumstances surrounding COVID - including rapidly changing conditions, misinformation and, above all, the safety of our children, is creating high levels of anxiety for everyone. The LCS Athletic Department will continue to follow recommendations provided by our state and local health professionals.   During the weeks to come there will be many updates shared with you to ensure you are informed about what to expect regarding a return to school.
