CLASSROOMS AND ACADEMIC SPACES
- Face coverings will be required for entry into schools.
- Classroom capacities will be adjusted in accordance with CDC, ODH, BOE and LCPH guidelines.
- Physical distancing of 6-feet will be maintained wherever feasible. If spatial adjustment is necessary, follow WHO guidance of not less than 3 feet in combination with face coverings and other mitigation strategies.

COMMON SPACES
- Face coverings will be required.
- There will be new ways to access common spaces to keep our staff and students safe.

DINING FACILITIES
- There will be limited seating in cafeterias, with most meals consumed in classrooms with student cohorts.
- Aramark will pre-package food to ease distribution and minimize contamination.
- Touchless pay options will be available.

- Testing will mandated by all participants.
- Symptom monitoring will be required each day.
- Face coverings will be required.
- Physical distancing will be enforced.
- Capacities for workout and practice areas will be enforced.

FACILITY CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The Lorain City Schools follows CDC guidance for cleaning & disinfecting of public spaces, workplaces, businesses, schools, and homes. Read it here. In addition, our staff takes the following precautions:
- Pathogen fogging will be conducted in facilities suspected to have been exposed to COVID-19.
- Staff use disinfectants and cleaning products classified within List N of EPA standards.
- Air filters replaced in all buildings compliant with virus mitigation guidelines.
- All buildings and vehicles deep cleaned in accordance with virus mitigation guidelines.
- State chemical check of water lines for all buildings to ensure no incidents of legionella.
- Plexiglass barriers installed in main office areas.
- Mobile plexiglass barriers available for temporary use, such as testing.
- Kitchens, hoods, vents and ice machines sanitized.
