Fall Parties

October 13, 2023

Whitehouse Parents,

Fall parties will be held throughout the day on Friday, October 27.  Some of the activities for the day will have a Halloween theme, while other activities planned by levels do not.  Each grade level will communicate level specific plans with all of you.  Please reach out to teachers with questions about level specific elements of the day once they have been communicated.

Students will be allowed to wear costumes for the day on Friday the 27 as long as they are not a significant disruption to the activities of the day.  This will be the theme for  our final day of Red Ribbon Week.  Face masks, face paint and toy weapons of any sort will not be allowed.  These items will be taken and held for the day if brought to school.  Your child will not be allotted time to go and change clothes during the day.  He/she should wear clothing that will be comfortable all day long at school.

If the weather cooperates we will have a quick parade around the school grounds as part of our fall celebration.  Morning Kindergarten will start their parade at 10:30 a.m.  The rest of the building will start their parade at 2:00 p.m.  The parades begin in the building, so it will take a few additional minutes for students to get outside.   As the date approaches, we will let everyone know if we will be able to parade around the building.

Parents are welcome to come and watch the parade around the front walking path, or along the front of the building.  Once the parade concludes, parents are encouraged to go home so we can have a "typical" dismissal process and maintain student safety.

Thank you for your support!  We look forward to a fun Fall Party Day with our students!

Sincerely,

Whitehouse Staff
