We will meet TOMORROW, (that's Thursday, October 5th) during Warrior Bell in the media center, and then move to Mrs. Jordan's room during 6th bell in order to get our video finished.
Builders Club:
Builders Club is back! Students who join Builders Club will get to participate in service projects throughout the school year to build leadership skills and give back to the community- all while having fun! Builders Club is open to any junior high student! If you are interested in joining, see Mr. Thomas in the media center or during lunch. Our first meeting will be next Monday, October 9th during lunch in the media center. Our first event will be to set up the Warrior Run. See Mr. Thomas if you would like to join!
Spanish Club:
If you are looking to get involved at MJHS AND celebrate Hispanic traditions come join Spanish Club! We will meet every fourth Wednesday of the month. The 8th graders' meeting will be advised by Señora Blankenship, and the 7th graders' meeting will be advised by Señora Torres. Sign up through the link posted in Schoology! Note: You don't have to be in Spanish class to join the club. So come on out, bring your lunch, and learn about Hispanic Heritage Month! Hope to see you there!
The annual Warrior Run will take place on October 14 at 5:15 p.m. (1 Mile) and 5:30 p.m. (5K) at Dogwood Park in Mariemont (both courses start and finish here.) Please consider joining our team and/or volunteering (even if you don't participate in the run, just registering helps raise money for our district).
The run includes a 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Walk, Kids’ Fun Run, great food, music, and carnival-style kids’ games. You can even participate virtually if you prefer.
Please consider joining our team, making a donation, or both! The money raised goes directly to supporting our mental health programs in the Mariemont City School District. Sources of Strength, Signs of Suicide, MindPeace Rooms have all been supported through our Warrior run funds.
