MAY 27, 2022 | Kelley Barnes, a counselor at Lorain High School, and Michelle Mantin, a teacher at Admiral King Elementary, are the winners of the 2021-2022 Titan Passport Challenge.
Kelley received a $200 Amazon gift card, and Michelle earned a one-night stay for 8 at the Kalahari Resort in Sandusky.
Both Kelley and Michelle reached the Gold Level. They completed an online health assessment and biometric screening and earned at least 200 of the possible 500 points between Aug. 2, 2021, and May 1, 2022, by completing monthly wellness activities.
Monthly wellness activities included attending CPR/First Aid/AED Training or workshops in conflict mediation, making healthy snacks, time management, and financial literacy, to name a few.
The Titan Wellness Passport is an incentive program designed to encourage all LCSD staff to connect and collaborate, stay motivated with friends and colleagues, and engage in fitness activities. The district’s Wellness Team organized this year’s passport program: Sarah Kaiser, Eden Patterson, Molly Tyson, and Melissa Sayers Wodtly.
