PUT SCHOOL VACCINES ON YOUR TO-DO LIST

Vaccines are an important tool to keep our students and staff healthy.

To make it easy for families to get up to date, we will have school vaccination clinics for kindergarten through 12th-grade students this summer. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins will be accepted as time permits. Nobody will be turned away for inability to pay. Lorain County Public Health will offer the vaccines.

Parents/guardians will need to provide consent for their children by attending the appointment with their child. If parents/guardians cannot attend, they may send a signed note with an adult, giving consent for their child to be vaccinated. Students ages 18 and up or 16 or 17 and emancipated may consent to vaccination by providing the relevant ID or paperwork.

It is okay to have questions about vaccines. If you'd like to speak with a Lorain County Public Health nurse before scheduling an appointment, please call 440-284-3206. If the below dates and times don't work for you, additional options are listed to the right.

If you are unsure what vaccines your child needs, Lorain Couty Public Health can provide you with your child's vaccination record.

The summer dates are Tuesday, June 6; Thursday, June 8; Tuesday, August 15 and Wednesday, August 16. All clinics are held from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Washington Elementary School, 1025 W. 23rd Street, Lorain, OH 44052. Schedule your appointment today by calling (440)284-3206.
