January 27, 2023 | What a great week we have had here in Lorain City Schools.
We can’t wait to get started with your children for what is sure to be another fantastic week of learning, discovering, and growing. But first, our staff will continue its professional development work on equity. We believe that all students should have access to quality education and that this starts with an understanding of equity.
To that end, we are offering a day of professional development on Monday to ensure that our teachers and staff are well-equipped to create an equitable learning environment for all students. There is no school for all students on Monday, January 30, 2023
We look forward to seeing all K-12 students back in our buildings on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
There is no preschool on Monday, January 30, 2023, and Tuesday, January 31, 2023, as Tuesday is a Step Up to Quality training day for our preschool education staff. Preschool students return on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
