April Parents' Newsletter

Message from the Principal

It is crazy to believe Spring Break has come and gone and we have only a couple of months left in the 2021-2022 school year. Parents, I would like to take a moment to thank you for your hard work this year. You are all vital to the success of students. Whether you were off from March 26th to  April 7th or not, I hope that all of you had the opportunity to reflect, refresh and rejuvenate yourselves with family and friends. As a season, Spring is a time where we get a sense of rejuvenation, a belief that things will be brighter, and warmer, and a renewed energy to put our best foot forward.

I have to send a special shout-out to our amazing parents of Garfield. I am inspired by how each of you is committed to building bridges with our staff across all grade levels and job titles. With your support, our staff continues to create amazing opportunities for families to be involved and to ensure that parents’/caregivers’ voices are heard. I can’t say thank you enough for all that you do for our school and community.

It has been another REWARDING and GROWING year for us all. There is so much to celebrate — our students have worked very hard this year. For many, they were challenged to accomplish things that they have never been exposed to before. They have demonstrated grit and perseverance. They are just all-around amazing students.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to stop by the office or call.

Yours in Education,
John Monteleone | Principal
