Leaders of Today | Each year, Leaders of Today recognizes two students with the Kayden D. Williams Memorial Scholarship. The Kayden D. Williams Memorial Scholarship was established in August 2021 to support two high school seniors graduating from Elyria or Lorain High School. Two non-renewable $500 scholarships will be awarded to students who are graduating from Elyria or Lorain High School in 2022. Additional requirements include:
- 2.0 cumulative weighted high school GPA or higher
- Proof of enrollment in a 2- or 4-year college in the Fall of 2022
- At least 1 letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach, or mentor
- Involvement in school and community activities throughout your high school career
Applications are due Monday, March 7, 2022, at 8 PM. Selected applicants will be interviewed during the week of March 21. Students who demonstrate a commitment to volunteer service in their community are encouraged to apply. APPLY!!
Burger King Scholarships | High school seniors, BURGER KING® employees, their dependent children, spouses, or domestic partners in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, and Guam can apply to receive $1,000 to $50,000 scholarships for the 2021-2022 school year! Eligible students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent). The deadline to apply is December 15, 2021. APPLY!!
The Jerry Garbash Memorial Scholarship | WOBL/WDLW Radio, Inc. The $1,000.00 scholarship is open to any qualifying Lorain County graduating student pursuing a career in the field of broadcasting, whether at an accredited college, university, or technical school for broadcasting in the fall of 2022. The program of study must be within the state of Ohio. See Mrs. Yee for an application!
