After extensive discussion, Lorain City Schools has made the decision to delay all basketball and wrestling competitions, until after Friday, December 11. This decision aligns with the decisions made by many of our opponents who have also delayed the start of their seasons.
The postponement of close-contact winter sports will be re-assessed on a weekly basis, with the next game tentatively scheduled for Saturday, December 12.
Bowling will continue, as scheduled, as it is a non-contact sport and can meet all CDC guidelines when competing against other schools.
Practice for all sports will continue, as well, along with weekly COVID testing of athletes.
