It is an honor to serve as your Principal here at Southview Middle School, where we inspire, challenge, and empower students through the love of learning through the transition from concrete to more abstract thought.  Serving grades 6-8, it is our goal to promote high expectations while working together with parents and the community to develop students to their full potential.
 
This school year, our Dean of Academics and Dean of Scholars and Family Engagement are transitioning to Assistant Principal roles as follows:
 
Ms. Melissa Cheers:  serving Students with the Last Names A-L
Ms. Melissa Morgan:serving  Students with the Last Names M-Z
 
We look forward to welcoming students virtually Tuesday September 8th, 2020. You may find what you need to know for the first day here:
 
If you have not obtained a laptop yet, we will have Laptop Distribution times  this week:
 
Tuesday, September 8: 8:30-9:30, 3:00-4:00
Wednesday, September 9: 8:30-9:30, 3:00-4:00
Thursday, September 10:  8:30-9:30, 3:00-4:00

Please enter on Goble Ave.  Please remain in your car.  You will need to bring a Proof of Residency and complete an updated EMA form.
If you have not made it to laptop distribution yet, and are unable to log-in to your google account, we have posted homerooms at the front entrance in order to find out who your Homeroom teacher is, and they may assist you and tell you your schedule.
 
Starting at 9:30am We encourage students to log-in and make sure you have access to all the classes on your schedule, communicate with your teachers and report to Homeroom at 11:30am.
