Four LHS Students Named To Attorney General's Teen Ambassador Board

Congratulations to seniors Lukas Reinhardt, Lewis White, Elizabeth Huskey and junior Danielle Rose Bowyer for being selected for Ohio's Attorney General Teen Ambassador Board for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year.

Attorney General Dave Yost announced more than 400 students from across the state who have been selected for this prestigious honor, representing 180 schools from across the state.

“The Teen Ambassador Board is an opportunity for young men and women who have distinguished themselves as leaders to meet and expand their interest in law and government,” Yost said in a media release. “We look forward to help hone their talents to a potential career in public service.”

Yost said the mission of the Teen Ambassador Board is to provide these future leaders with a front row seat and first-hand experience into the inner workings of Ohio law and government.

The group participated in its first virtual board meeting on Tuesday, where they began their work as advisors to the AG. During their tenure as board members, these four students will present issues facing teens, and create viable solutions as they work with their peers, Yost said.

Throughout the year, the group will also attend presentations, hear from elected officials, interact with assistant attorneys general, and have the opportunity to participate in events throughout the state once activities resume. Until that time, the office plans to offer video calls with prominent figures around Ohio, Yost's office has said.

We are extremely proud of these four students, and are certain they will serve as distinguished representatives of our City, and its future.

Congratulations Lukas, Lewis, Elizabeth and Danielle -- you make us all #TitanProud!
