New students to Lorain High School, we are eager to meet you and welcome you to our campus!
We will be hosting an in-person orientation session for all "in-person" incoming 9th grade students, and students new to Lorain High School. In order to ensure numbers are as safe and manageable as possible, we will be hosting two sessions, and this will be open to students only.
- Cohort A students are invited to a 5:00 p.m. session
- Cohort B students are invited to a 6:30 p.m. session
- Each session will last approximately one hour.
Each session will include a brief presentation from administrators welcoming new students to the high school, followed by a tour of the campus and review of safety protocols and guidelines. Our goal is to help everyone feel as oriented, welcome, and safe as possible prior to the start of our in-person instruction, beginning on January 19th.
Students should be dropped off on the west side of the LHS campus, outside the cafeteria and auditorium doors. Additional details/invitations will be shared with the students via their student email accounts on Monday, January 11th. Finally, all students will be required to wear a mask while on campus.
