Due to the result of our community's current situation regarding COVID-19, logistical issues and concerns about traffic has caused Second Harvest Food Bank to make the decision to cancel the previously scheduled food pantry, at Longfellow Middle School, on April 23. As they look to serve not only Lorain City Schools families, but also our entire surrounding community, Second Harvest will be conducting food pantries at both Brookside High School, in Sheffield, and at Black River Landing, in Lorain.
Those pantries are as follows:
Brookside Drive-Thru Food Distribution,1662 Harris Rd, Sheffield Lake, OH 44054.
From 2-4 p.m., Tuesday, April 21st
NOTE: This food pantry is open to the entire county, and you do not have to be a resident of Sheffield/Sheffield Lake in order to receive food.
Black River Landing Drive-Thru Food Distribution,421 Black River Ln, Lorain, OH 44052
