Congratulations to the following award-winning artists, whose works were selected for recognition in this year's Lorain County Schools High School Art Exhibition. Their art was submitted for consideration for the award by Lorain High School Ceramics Teacher, Zita Smith:
- Emily Wilkerson: Best in Show and 1st and 3rd place People's Choice Awards
- Naila Dower: 2nd place People's Choice Award and Excellence Award
- Gianna Vasquez: Excellence Award and Honorable Mention People's Choice Award
- Samone Whitt: Two Honorable Mentions People's Choice Awards
The Lorain County Schools High School Art Exhibition is an annual event put on by the Educational Service Center of Lorain County. Art was on display November 1 - November 19, 2021 at the Elyria Public Library - West River Branch. Awards were posted by the end of the 2nd week of the show, with judging conducted by Lorain County art teachers. People's Choice Awards are given out at the end of the exhibit show, with voting cards supplied at the library for patrons to vote for their favorite art.
