On January 1, 2021, Ohio Gov. Mike Dewine & Lt. Gov. Jon Husted have recognized the month of January as School Board Recognition Month.

We would like to recognize, and thank, Lorain City Schools Board of Education President Mark Ballard, Vice President Bill Sturgill and board members Timothy Williams, Yvonne Johnson and Courtney Nazario for their tireless and dedicated commitment to our children and their educational futures.
