October 21, 2022 | The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio is bringing their after-school enrichment program to Hawthorne Elementary School, starting November 1, 2022.
This expansion means that after-school programming through the Boys & Girls Clubs is now available in every elementary and middle school in Lorain City Schools. This ensures all students can access FREE homework help, STEAM activities, and after-school meals without leaving school.

- When will the Boys & Girls Club open at Hawthorne, and what are the hours? | The Hawthorne Boys & Girls Club will open on Nov. 1, 2022. Hours are 2:30-6:00 PM.
- What do students do at the Boys & Girls Club? | Students will receive homework help, stay active in the gym, try new STEAM activities, make friends and receive a meal every day they attend.
- My child already attends a school club. Can they attend the Boys & Girls Club as well? | Absolutely! We will work with school staff to transition students from their after-school clubs.
