Lorain City School Students' Art Featured During Lorain County Region Scholastic Art Exhibit

Shout-out (#SHOUTOUT!) to the Lorain City School students whose art is on exhibit in Lorain County Community College's Stocker Arts Center.
In its 52nd year, Stocker Arts Center is once again host to the Lorain County Region Scholastic Art Exhibit Sponsored by Nordson Corporation. This exhibit draws from public, parochial, and private middle and high schools from Lorain, Erie, and Huron Counties. Each year, over 1,400 original works of art from the regions’ students are entered by their art teachers. Professional judges choose up to 700 pieces of art that are hung salon-style in the Beth K. Stocker Art Gallery at Lorain County Community College.
 
Artists’ Reception for ALL EXHIBITING ARTISTS, friends and family will be held from 1-3p.m., Sun. Jan. 26, in the Stocker Center Gallery.
The 2020 Lorain County Scholastic Art Gold Key Awards Ceremony will be held at 1 p.m., Feb. 2.

You can experience these works of art, firsthand, by visiting the Stocker Arts Center, 1005 N Abbe Rd, Elyria, OH 44035, Monday, January. 13 through Thursday, February 20.
 
The gallery is open:

Mondays through Fridays, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, January 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30 and February 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18 and Wednesday, February 19, the gallery is also open from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
Sundays, January 19, 26, February 2 and 9, the gallery is open from 1 to 3 p.m.
