Pam Reber Jones was born and raised in Lorain. In 1984, she graduated from Lorain Catholic High School, where she participated in cheerleading, track, concert choir, and student council. One of the aspects of Lorain Catholic that Pam cherished the most was the close-knit community and the supportive environment that the small school offered, and she attributes that to having played a significant role in shaping her future aspirations.

Pam's decision to pursue a career in funeral services was inspired by a class she took in high school. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mortuary Science in 1988 from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Following graduation, she completed an apprenticeship at Dovin Funeral Home in Lorain, which ultimately led her to Cleveland, where she worked for Tomon and Sons Funeral Home for 19 years. She has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer for 35 years.

In 2007, Pam moved her career forward and partnered with John Dovin to establish the Dovin Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center. The center opened in 2009, beginning a new chapter in her professional journey. Pam has a passion not only for her career, but for her community. Her commitment to those who she serves goes above and beyond and does not end with a given day. She instills her values in her staff; and, in turn, they all care for the community they serve. Pam's passion and commitment earned her the honor of being named the National Funeral Director of the Year 2021 Runner-Up.

Outside of her professional commitments, Pam has served as a board member for the Lorain County Community Foundation Women's Fund, a member of the Amherst Rotary, and an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst where she is an Eucharistic Minister who distributes communion to the home-bound. She is also an alumna of the Leadership Lorain County class of 2011.

Pam has been happily married to Bill Jones for 24 years. They have two sons, Aus-tin, 23, and Cole, 21. She is known to be one of the hardest working people who does it all with a smile, kindness, and grace.
