Class of 2026

The Lorain Schools Alumni Association honors graduates of Lorain Schools who have had high levels of achievement in their careers. To nominate a graduate, please read through the criteria below and complete the attached form to submit your nomination.

Criteria for selection into the Lorain Schools Alumni Association Distinguished Alumni & Hall of Fame
 
Nominations are currently being accepted for any Lorain Schools Alumni who meet the following Criteria:
 
  • Nominees shall be alumni of Lorain Schools (St. Mary’s, Admiral King, Southview, Lorain High, and Lorain Catholic) who have distinguished themselves at a high level of achievement in their particular field of study, life’s work, or community service in areas such as, but not limited to, the arts, business, education, government service, community service, science, and technology.
  • Nominees must have graduated at least fifteen years before the selection date.  Individuals may be nominated posthumously.
  • Employees of the Lorain Schools (St. Mary’s, Admiral King, Southview, Lorain High, and Lorain Catholic) who served with distinction.
  • Nominations may be submitted by any Lorain Schools Graduate, Lorain community Member, or member of the Selection Committee.
  • Nominations will be accepted until midnight on December 31 of each year. Any submissions received after that time will not be considered for the coming year's Distinguished Alumni Award & Hall of Fame.
