Meet the School Leaders

  • Turnaround Principal: Andrew Hoffman is a native of Northeast Ohio, Andrew graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and obtained his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Ashland University. As a life-long learner, Andrew plans to continue his formal education in leadership in hopes of beginning his Doctorate degree in the near future. Andrew began his teaching career with Lorain City Schools where he taught third grade for two years before moving to Chicago and serving in a K-8 building as the Response to Intervention (RTI) and Assessment Coordinator. During his time as RTI Coordinator, his school experienced tremendous growth in both reading and math, finishing with over 80% of scholars achieving their yearly NWEA benchmark. On a personal note, Andrew is an avid sports fan. He played soccer collegiately and has coached high school athletics for seven years. Andrew also enjoys being outside with his wife, Kelsey, and their 100lb Golden Retriever, Moose.

    Dean of Scholar & Family Engagement: Brandon Proctor taught at McLain High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma and also at Jenks East Intermediate School in Jenks, Oklahoma. During Mr. Proctor’s time at McLain, he served as Department Chair of Social Studies. During this time, he increased the participation of students taking the ACT test from 5 to75 students per year. At Jenks, he taught special education math to grades 5 and 6. Students at Jenks voted Mr. Proctor “Teacher of the Week” on four different occasions. His students at Jenks averaged two years of growth in math. Prior to beginning his teaching career, Mr. Proctor served in the military before starting his undergraduate studies at Kent State University, College of Education. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Minor in History. While attending Kent State, he received a Service Leadership Award from the College of Education for his work in creating a nonprofit organization called Books Forever. Mr. Proctor is married to Rassa and they have a two-year old daughter named Navya. He enjoys fishing and spending quality time with his family.
