Lorain City Schools is proud to serve more than 6,000 students in grades preschool through 12th grade in 14 state-of-the-art school buildings in the “International City of Lorain, Ohio.

Located on the shores of beautiful Lake Erie just 30 minutes west of Cleveland, we are the ninth largest city in Ohio and one of the few urban areas in the state experiencing population growth, according to the latest Census.

Lorain offers year-round outdoor recreation through its city and county park systems, including boating, fishing, kayaking, hiking, bicycling, and cross-country skiing.
