Active Requests for Proposals

  • All request for proposal (RFP) solicitations are made through a bidding process. All active RFPs are posted in this area. If the area is blank, there are no active requests at this time.


  • The Board of Education of the Lorain City Schools District intends to contract for Copiers, Printers, Software, Supplies and related Services for the period of July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2022. Firms interested in being considered for a contract are required to submit their proposal pursuant to the scope of work provided and should return proposals no later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2017. Proposals received after this deadline will not be considered. 

    Specifications may be obtained from the Procurement Office, Lorain City Schools, 1930 West 19th Street, Lorain, OH 44052 and from the District’s web site 

    All questions must be submitted in writing to by the end of business March 17, 2017. No questions may be submitted after that time. 

    One original and four copies of the proposal marked “Copiers - RFP” should be submitted to the Board of Education, Lorain City Schools Administration Center, 2601 Pole Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052, attention Treasurer’s Office. 

    All proposals are to be prepared at the submitter’s expense. The Lorain City Schools District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, in whole or part, and accept any proposal which it deems favorable. The District shall have no liability to any submitter whose proposal is not accepted. 

    Acceptance of a proposal shall not constitute an Agreement between the submitter and the Lorain City Schools District until a contract is negotiated.
