Integrated Activities

Co-Curricular activities are integrated into the classroom instruction. Thereby providing opportunities for all cadets to further develop their leadership skills. Integrated Co-Curricular activities such as color guard, drill, and saber teams are available to all cadets enrolled in JROTC. Cadets are encouraged to participate in activities of their choice. These teams are open to all students enrolled in JROTC.

Titan Battalion Color Guard and Drill Team:  Consists of a Cadet led a specialized team of the JROTC that has the honor of presenting the flag or posting and retiring the colors at local, state, or national events. The highest standards of uniform wear and appearance, discipline, and military bearing are mandatory for Color Guard participation. These team members function as a unit embodying the characteristics of an outstanding JROTC Cadet.




Titan Battalion Academic Team:Sponsored by the College Options Foundation, teams of Army JROTC Cadets from across the country can participate in the Army JROTC Academic and Leadership Bowls. The benefits of joining include the opportunity to improve SAT/ACT scores and increased college interest. Cadets develop increased leadership skills, hands-on interactive learning, and relating leadership skills to the historical monuments and memorials they visit if they advance to the final round in Washington, DC. 


Titan Battalion Robotics Team:  The Titan Battalion Cadets put the concepts of STEM to the test, build innovative robots, program autonomous code, and compete among other schools to advance to the JROTC VEX Robotics Competition Nationals. The Titan Battalion Robotics Team strives to compete and win all VEX Robotics competitions, and tournaments that occur throughout the year at the local, state, and national levels.

Titan Battalion CyberPatriot Team:  CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Education Program. The Titan Battalion CyberPatriot Team places Cadets in the position of newly hired IT professionals tasked with managing the network of a small company. In the rounds of competition, teams receive a set of virtual images that represent operating systems with the requirement to find cybersecurity vulnerabilities within the images and hardening the system while maintaining critical services in six hours. Teams compete for the top placement within their state and region in the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition, the top teams in the nation earn an all-expenses-paid trip to Baltimore, MD, for the National Finals Competition, where they could receive national recognition and scholarship money.



Titan Battalion Rifle Team (Sporter Class Air Rifle):  Consists of a Cadet led marksmanship team to encourage and introduce cadets to the discipline of competitive, precision marksmanship. The Cadre provides structured classroom marksmanship instruction, practical application, individual qualification, and competitive match opportunities. As members of a highly trained group, team members should gain satisfaction from being part of a precision, professional, smoothly functioning team. 



Titan Battalion Raider Detachment:  Consists of two eight cadet teams and promotes teamwork and self-confidence. It provides JROTC cadets a competitive program in five mentally and physically challenging training events. The competition includes the Modified Army Physical Fitness test (2 minutes of push-ups, 2 minutes of sit-up, and a 1-mile run) construction of a one-rope bridge, a 5-kilometer road march, a litter carry, and optional events. The optional activities are shuttle run, logistics relay, vehicle pull, and knot tying relay.
