Washington Elementary School
Named after our first president, Washington Elementary opened in April 2005, replacing the previous Washington Elementary building that faced Washington Avenue. That building opened in 1954 to accommodate Lorain’s ever increasing population due to the post WWII “Baby Boom.” It is designed to hold 450 students for an investment of $7.9 million, of which nearly 80% came from the state of Ohio.

Dear ELL Parents:

The ELL staff at Washington would like to invite you to join us for an ELL Parent Night on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 5:00p.m.

We will present an overview of our program, staff and services as well as an exciting after school opportunity for our 3rd – 6th grade students.
