Hoops Returning to Admiral King, Toni Morrison Playgrounds
Basketball hoops, backboards, and nets will be returning to the playgrounds of Toni Morrison and Admiral King elementary schools this spring. They were removed 2 years ago in response to concerns over security outside of school hours. "These are community spaces," shared Superintendent Jeff Graham. "Local taxpayer dollars were invested in these properties to ensure our children have places to play. We want our kids to know they are welcome on school grounds." Security cameras will also be installed to address those concerns.
