FCCLA has Success despite Pandemic

This past spring, Julia Miller, Amanda Baker, and Madison Stewart, 2020 Graduates, completed a project focusing on traffic safety and placed in the top four in the state.

In June and July, Hailee Bay, Kaitlyn McPeek, Olivia Spillers, and Caelen White competed in the first ever VIRTUAL NATIONAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE.

Due to the pandemic, regional and state conferences were cancelled so these young ladies qualified by taking a FCCLA test over FCCLA content.  They had to then video tape themselves presenting their project and submit the video along with hard copies of their project to National FCCLA.  The results were announced during the Virtual NLC in July.  Olivia and Caelen competed in Chapter in Review Portfolio and earned a Gold Rating.  Hailee and Kaitlyn competed in Interpersonal Communications and earned a Silver Rating.
