The Governing Board of the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESC) is seeking applicants to fill the unexpired term of a position on the Board.
 
The Governing Board must name a replacement within 30 days of the effective date of the vacancy occurring, which is January 1, 2024. The newly appointed member will serve until December 31, 2025. If the appointed member desires to continue serving, they must file petitions to be on the ballot for the November 4, 2025, general election.
 
Those interested in serving on the Governing Board of the ESC should submit a letter of interest and resume to Governing Board CFO/Treasurer David Varda at [email protected] or send to David Varda, Treasurer, CFO, 2080 Citygate Drive, Columbus Ohio 43219.  Applications should be submitted by 4:30pm on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.  
 
According to Ohio law, those serving on Ohio school boards must be at least 18 years old and for the ESC Governing Board must reside in one of the following Franklin County Local School Districts:

The Governing Board will review applications meeting the requirements referenced above and appoint the successful candidate at its January 12, 2024, organizational meeting.
