Greetings Anthony Wayne Junior High Families,
We wanted to send a quick message to all you as a reminder of our Ohio State Tests. Our students and staff have been working incredibly hard and we cannot wait to see what they accomplish! As a reminder, students can earn incentives during our Incentive Day* (May 26th) for reaching their growth projection on their Ohio State Tests.
*Please note: Students who receive an office referral that results in disciplinary action may forfeit the opportunity to participate in the incentive day.
Ohio State Test Reminder
As a reminder, we encourage you to:
? Avoid scheduling appointments during testing dates
? Please contact the school as soon as possible if your student may miss a testing day
? Encourage your student to have a good night’s rest prior to testing
? Do your best to provide a nutritious breakfast (breakfast is also available at school)
? Please make sure your child arrives to school on time
? Make sure your child has a charged school-issued Chromebook
Ohio State Test Dates
? April 12 & 13: English Language Arts Ohio State Tests
? April 19 & 20: Math Ohio State Tests
? April 26 & 27: Science Ohio State Tests (8th Grade Only)
Homework Helpers Canceled for the Next Three (3) Weeks
Due to our state testing schedule, we are unable to host our Homework Helpers for the next three (3) weeks. Homework helpers will resume again in May.
