Superintendent Meets the President
Dr. Cheryl Atkinson, Lorain City Schools Superintendent, was fortunate enough to be invited to sit on stage during the Barack Obama Presidential visit to Lorain County Community College. Dr. Atkinson said she spoke with President Obama at the very end of his visit, shook hands, got a hug and told him about Lorain's education campus project proposal and asked him to read it. "He said yes, and I was able to get it to him. What an experience and blessing, " she said.
