GEAR UP
|
Lorain City
Schools is partnering with GEAR UP, a federally funded grant program,
to bring exciting opportunities to the Class of 2011. The district received
a GEAR UP grant, for the next six years, which will follow this year’s
seventh grade class through graduation and on to college. The stated
goal of this grant is to “raise overall academic performance of
incoming 7th graders and increase their likelihood of enrolling in college.”
