Washington Elementary Math through Music school offers students the opportunity to explore math through the world of music. Classroom teachers will collaborate with music and math specialists to create stimulating instruction to increase student achievement. Deep understanding will happen through the simultaneous exploration of math and music. Experiencing music and math entwined together will be the foundation for of all other learning successes. Extensive practice on keyboards and instruments will give the students the confidence and desire to perform to an audience.

Student Requirements

  • Grades K – 5
  • Students residing within the attendance boundaries of Washington Elementary School are given first priority over students within the Lorain City Schools district
  • Students enrolled in Lorain City Schools are given priority over students from other school districts
