Advanced Placement
Advanced Placement courses are offered at both high schools following a rigorous curriculum from the College Board. The courses are taught for high school credit with college credit available for any student who receives a 4 or 5 (out of 5) on the Advanced Placement exam in the May of the year. The high school credit and grade is not affected by this exam. Courses that are offered include:
US History
English Literature and Composition
English Language and Composition
AP Calculus
Chemistry
Each year, additional courses are considered for addition to the offerings. Please note that prospective enrollment will determine the viability of each course’s addition to the high school schedule.
